At Cen-Tex Sheet Metal Fabricators, we provide a wide range of capabilities suitable for large and small scale projects. Our facility is 24,300 sq. ft. and contains the latest technology and equipment. We’re proud to offer our customers not only advanced equipment, but also collaboration with our team of engineering experts to help improve projects. We boast an engineering department with over 30 years of experience in the fields of design, engineering, drafting, manufacturing and machine programming. We’re known throughout our customer base for helping redesign fabricated parts for product improvement, manufacturability and cost savings.
Along with our engineering help, we have an Autocad design 2D and 3D software and numerical control machine for post programming. We also offer laser cutting, waterjet cutting, shearing, press braking and various other machines and capabilities.
OUR SERVICES
What We Do
Laser Cutting
We have a 6 Kilowatt Fiber laser cutter on a 5' x 10' work table that is able to cut through steel, stainless, aluminum, copper and brass in various thicknesses. Our laser cutting is unmatched in power, speed and precision.
Press Brake
At Cen-Tex, we’re able to precisely bend materials to our customers’ tight tolerance project specifications. With our three press brake systems, we offer precise, repeatable bending.
Waterjet Cutting
Our computer-controlled water-jet cutting machine packs a 60,000 PSI hydraulic pump in combination with garnet that creates a precise and abrasive system. We are able to cut through all material types including metal and plastics through 6” thick.
Shearing
We have the shearing capability to shear blank and straight cuts through all material types and grades up to .250" thick.
Re-finishing Department
Our Re-finishing Department boasts grinding, re-graining and blending capabilities for part surfaces and to improve part appearance.
Welding
At Cen-Tex, we have mig, tig and heliarc welding capabilities to create fabricated assemblies for any project.
